French, Gouaillet Freres, for Tiffany & Co, NY: crystal regulator with 8-day time and gong strike mvmt. C.1900.
CONDITION:
brass case in excellent condition, all four beveled glasses are perfect, the porcelain dial is signed "Tiffany & Co." (remains signature) with two minor hairlines outside the chapter ring between 9-10 (not visible in foto or beyond a foot). Period mercury and glass pendulum is intact with good vials. Movement marked with award medallion for Gouaillet {successors to Pons, note "Acq de Mon Pons" also shows in medallion}. Ht 10.5"
